Yep, you can see his fury, quite understandable. It still amazes me how people (often those who would claim to be in positions of moral/legal authority) will completely debase themselves for their own material gain.

I'm not sure it's even for material gain here. I can't even begin to wrap my head around the lying to themselves they must have to do in order to justify pretending that they aren't debasing themselves totally for a senile fruit-loop who's dismantling America as we've known it. Though the misery in their faces suggests that deep down they know.

Yes, they know. I think it must be for the status, the lure of being a judge in this instance. Judging by the look of this lot, the likelihood they would achieve similar through merit seems unlikely. The same goes for the array of grossly unqualified sycophants Trump has handed authority to; Hegseth, RFK jr, Noem, Bondi etc.
