Apart from the golf cart quip the average golf course is 3.55 miles. How crap is he that he has to travel an additional 5.45 miles? 🤣

A 50 mile hike is a huge distance.
Especially in one go. Probably 20 hours of constant walking.
Very few people would ever attempt anything close to that.

I've heard similar from a few sources. Eeyore alert.
Debt (individual, corporate and nationally) is too high. Stock markets are overinflated and a "correction" is imminent. The price of oil is largely set by the futures on the stock exchange floor, not supply and demand. Reality will meet gambling at some point. There are more examples.
The most telling point is that some investment companies are blocking withdrawals from certain products. They want to stop a "run".
