Spot on I'd say. Top rant! Sent me back to my note to self of a month or so ago:
Trump has actually done surprisingly little given how long he's been in office.
Odd statement. In terms of deconstructing agencies of accountability and enabling Project 2025, he has done a lot. He has empowered the ultra rich. He is also blurring the lines between the executive, the judicial and the legislative in an extraordinarily detrimental way. The pardoning of felons is both mafioso and sets a dangerous precedent. It legitimises violence on opinion - it's the brownshirts in contemporary KKK outfits. Trump's coercive moves against media is straight out of the wannabe dictators guide to totalitarianism.
As far as policies go, then no, he hasn't done a lot but Trump is not in power because he wants to lead a country, he's in power because he's wants be POTUS*. He was bereft of actual policy in Trump 1.0.
Whilst he is POTUS, he can delegate jobs for the boys and line his pockets - after the first term, he said '...I left cash on the table...'.
The sooner people realise he's not there to run a country or to improve the US in any shape of form, then the sooner they might decide enough is enough.
*He also wants to sit on some files that contain Kompromat. Handy to be POTUS really. He may die before facing consequences or accountability - or be so mentally impaired, he wouldn't know what the f*ck was going on thereby avoiding the same.
