Some of the law firms who were punished for refusing to kiss the orange rapist's ring, are now seeking to have temporary stops on the executive orders, made permanent.

Claims that there were "national security" concerns over lawyers identified in the orders, (in reality the rapist seeking revenge against individuals), is said to be bollox as the individuals no longer work for the firms.

Judge Xinis gives the DoJ until 6pm ET, to substantiate it's claim that it does not have to comply with orders to return Abrego Garcia to the US.

What happens when they just ignore the rulings though? They’ve exposed a flaw in the legal system in that they just ignore legal rulings and the checks & balances do nothing not least as those who should be enforcing them are either complicit or too cowed to do their job. It feels like the attempted coup in 2021 was pretty successful as it has made US politicians scared to protect the country’s democracy.

I hope that those big law firms that caved into Trump see their bottom lines severaly hit - I mean, who would employ lawyers who don't fight an obviously illegal order? It's interesting to see that on the retail front Target's sales have sunk ten weeks in a row, after they ditched their DEI policy to gain favour with Trump - apparently it was the go-to place for black women, and they are boycotting it, favouring Costco instead, whose sales are booming.

It might be wishful thinking, but I wonder if the 'Emperor has no clothes' realisation will accelerate, if they realise he's been shooting blanks most of the time.

Well it looks like he is ditching the China tariffs despite the Chinese government not even picking up the 'phone.

Ultimately civil war part 2?

Edited to add; The orange rapist has admitted on his own social media that he doesn't think due process should be allowed to people he wants to drport. This should raise alarms with all of the courts the DoJ is tied up with.
