But what happens when they *again* ignore the SC, as they are doing now? What are the remedies? It feels like Team Trump are testing the waters for outright defiance on this 'minor' case, making the defiance more and more blatant, and under oath.

But I suppose since they are all ignoring their oaths of office, oaths are so yesterday. Maybe as they weren't sworn on Trump Bibles.

The person who ignores the supreme court will be in contempt and be in prison. At that point, the number of volunteers should decrease.

Note in the Garcia case, they are still complying with the judge's orders to some extent i.e. when she asks for something to be submitted by 3pm, it is submitted. At the moment, they are arguing about some national security nonsense.

In theory
but they might reach a stage where no-one can put them in prison

and - in terms of the mid-terms - In my opinion there are people in trump's organisation looking at that

and I think Musk is involved in whatever they are planning

the election results will need to be checked carefully

The Garcia case is interesting with many of the submissions being under seal. From the documents that have been made public there have been suggestions of diplomatic discussions taking place. But the DoJ is invoking "state secrets" to continue with the under seal filings.
However, Judge Xinis seems to be losing patience with the DoJ. On Tuesday she ordered the DoJ produce a privilege log of the secrets it wished to have witheld, or potentially face her finding there had been intentional wirholding of information.

Meanwhile the orange rapist's administration makes cuts in less public ways:
Stopping new lab purchases
Limiting government credit card purchases to $1
And even restricting the purchase of medicines for National Park Rangers' horses.
