That may not have been the intention of the gunman, but MAGA and Trump in particular will, based upon previous experience, use it as for that purpose.

Yes - yes he did. And it should be of comfort to those in this thread who are mourning him, that he would have considered his own death at the hands of an active shooter to be a necessary price worth paying for the citizens of the US to have the right to own assault weapons and high-powered sniper rifles.

Because I'm sure he would have included himself in that generalisation, and he didn't just mean the regular death toll of schoolkids, getting their viscera blown out through their backs or their heads popped like over-ripe grapefruit. I'm sure he would.
