Ha, I just thought how delicious it would be if Chris Morris somehow got to interview him - remember the episode of Brass Eye, where he interviewed MPs about a fictional drug, and rather than admit they'd never heard of it, they expressed disgust at it when they were on camera.

I'd pay good money to hear him talk about the effect it has on Shatner's Bassoon.

Shame there's probably no chance of persuading him to wear a Nonce Sense baseball cap.

Re: Saint Charlie
Several days ago I heard reports about Kirk saying "If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, 'Boy, I hope he's qualified". I was uncertain about it but just got round to checking it out and he really did say it!
Charlie Kirk’s ‘Black Pilot’ Remark Sparks Fury
Link includes a video of him actually saying it. To me it really highlights al "attitude".

? Keep up at the back.

Here's a Guardian article listing some of the most controversial things Kirk actually said. He was an abhorrent individual, make no mistake.

He was using an example in the context of affirmative policy over meritocracy

Charlie Kirk made the statement on the January 3, 2024, episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, streamed on Rumble, during a discussion with guest Heather Mac Donald. The context was a conversation about affirmative action and its perceived impact on hiring practices. Kirk expressed concern that affirmative action policies might lead to hiring decisions based on race rather than merit, specifically questioning whether a "moronic Black woman" in a customer service role was employed due to her qualifications or because of affirmative action. He suggested that such policies could foster resentment and create "unwholesome thought patterns" by prompting doubts about individuals' competence based on their race. Mac Donald responded by criticizing what she called the "race hustle" and arguing that racial proportionality in hiring cannot coexist with excellence, citing statistics about academic performance among Black 12th graders to support her point. The discussion framed affirmative action as undermining meritocracy, with Kirk’s comment reflecting his skepticism about the qualifications of certain individuals in professional roles.

Sorry missed that. Often I find posts TL;DR and it was buried in middle of a post about Robinson and US bible bashers. Quite busy in my life so often longer posts that are not so succinct get skimmed through/skipped when I've other stuff to be getting on with.

And now ... new medical advice from the unqualified often incoherent disinterested party who proposed injecting people with disinfectant to cure Covid. Whilst all scientific studies and medical advice recommend not following the new advice (just as the same expert sources recommended not injecting disinfectant to cure Covid).

Pregnant women need to put up with the pain and thank the lord for the gift of pregnancy. 🤔

Or is it,….Pregnant women need to put up with the pregnancy and thank the lord for the gift of pain. Whatever..

Trump to designate Antifa as a terrorist grouppublished at 18:28

18:28BREAKING

Leavitt says the Trump administration could designate Antifa as a terrorist group as soon as this afternoon.
"The president intends to sign that executive order very soon - as soon as it's drafted, as soon as today, later this afternoon," she says.
For context: Antifa - a decentralised, leftist movement that opposes far-right, racist and fascist groups - has long attracted Trump's ire.
But experts have been quick to question how the president will actually target the group, which lacks a distinct leader, membership list or structure. In 2020, then-FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress that Antifa was better defined as an ideology than as a formal organisation.

Bold part in the text by me. Let me give my answer to that question. Anyone anti-Trump will be designated as Antifa and therefore a terrorist.
Nothing fascist about that. No, nothing at all.

It's happening right in front of us all.

As I understood the US (maybe incorrectly) US law does not recognise domestic terrorism. International terrorism is recognised by federal law but not domestic.

(Do correct me if I'm wrong on this as I claim no expertise).

Shouldn't he get another Nobel prize for that?
Maybe we should start a campaign. Help make-up so some of us might be forgiven and allowed US visas again?

I nominate Trump for the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine and can I have a visa please? (nb I don't actually want a vist but being blocked could be a real nuisance as when I've flown to South America I've been forced to "enter" the US through passport control, walk round to departured (same terminal) and out through everything just for a flight transfer.

You're welcome to say: "What did I miss?"

In days of old, when men were bold in the halcyon days of Bike Radar, an individual would fill in the gaps when asked. This provided fertile ground for the creative. ^_^
