In fairness, the long term picture is a bit more complicated. At the very least I'd like to better understand what happened in 2019, and comparative vaccination levels.

I think the reference to a problem in orthodox religious communities refusing vaccination is correct. IIRC it wasn't only orthodox jews, loonie christian type groups were also affected.

BTW just been to watch the second part of Wicked. The story of a narcissistic leader who uses lies and distractions to gain power and pass all the bad stuff as being the fault of ‘others’. I wonder where writers get their far fetched ideas? Fortuitous timing really, the original Wizard of Oz film was obviously based on the fascism of the late 1930s but I hadn’t realised the original book was written off the back of the rise of populism at the end of the 19th century.
