It would have been one thing if the officer had panicked and shot (which would still scream of a lack of training, not that from what I've read, they had much anyway), but they don't seem all that bothered about it, do they?

Had to stop as he is so extreme that it was making me angry
Now - the thing is - I don;t get angry much - I am generally very calm and controlled
So it made me think
If it is making me angry - and from another country
then people in the area who hear this must be getting way more angry
and angry people do things out of that anger
and if there is riot and attacks on ICE and otehr such units

and they have got what they want
so - press conference to calm things down
or deliberate attempt to inflame people and cause the chaos they want to justify going much further

Same here, I was reading the live text coverage and was thinking I get highly frustrated with Starmer wanting to understand all the facts before commenting, being very measured/dithering yadda, whatever…. but this instant unsubstantiated judgement is both callous and inflammatory.
I feel sad for the country, it is truly in a tragic state.
