Here's another way of saying what I was getting at about Pretti. They both should be alive now, and how saintly (or not) they (are), or anyone else ICE murders, shouldn't make any difference to our revulsion.
He's said that they're "reviewing everything" when it comes to the killing of Pretti and will make a "determination" on what to do. Given the administrations recent commitment to transparency (which is a joke of a claim), I wonder how honest it will actually be.
I'm hoping that he'll be advised that this needs to be handled pretty sensitively, because neither "side" in this is going to be particularly happy. And who knows, maybe he will? But based on past evidence I'm not holding my breath.
