I keep wondering about Bezos' motives. Best theory I can concoct is he's planning some business measure/take-over/de-unionisation that would massively benefit from Trump's "This should be allowed/denied/passed". Would have been a bit obvious to pass £28m directly to Donald but pay it his wife whilst flattering her ego gets round and suggestion of inappropriate payments.

Just the American version of allowing the PM's. son to use your flat to study for his A levels, or whatever. Just because you cannot immediately see it, does not mean it does not exist.
