An interesting twist to the incompetence shown by the National Security Advisor and others, in the attack on Houthti rebels.
A non profit called American Oversight has issued a lawsuit against the five cabinet members of the Signal group, claiming non compliance with federal legislation which requires there to be preservation of records in accordance with federal law.
The judge who has been assigned the case is Judge Boasberg, who already has members of the orange rapist's administration in his sights, for deportation flights to El Salvador seemingly taking off after the judge said they should not take place.

Yes, I see the resemblance though Blakey wasn't an odious 50's aristocratic throwback.
Do you see that? I can get TNT/Discovery+ for £31.99 a month. I get to see cycling and the Rees Moggs on a weekly basis.
My life would be complete.

To me Trump's tarriffs look increasingly like blackmail. eg Trump is now suggesting he might ease tarrfiis on China if they sell him Tik Tok.
Trump floats easing tariffs on China in return for TikTok deal. What has supposed economic policy to bring industrial production back into the US got to do with US buying Tik Tok?

Similarly looking like UK is offering to cancel Digital Service Tax on the likes on Musk and Zukiniberg so avoid tarriffs on US car imports. What has economic policy to return vehicle manufacturing to domestic US got to do withUS Social Media paying tax in the UK?

And if it's blackmail should we be paying the demands?

That's always been one of his tactics. He's a mobster through and through.

And those are just the deals we get to hear about. I wonder what side deals are being made for personal benefit.

The shitgibbon's transactional worldview has never been a secret, why is it still such a surprise? I think we've all been asleep.

Is it 'mobster' or is it a 'businessman' trying to cut deals? Trump sees being president as lots of commercial opportunities*. Not much else really. Legislation, the judiciary, the constitution, democracy, borders, war even etc is just an impediment to business.

I think mobster, racketeer and extortionist, rather than business man, Pinno. Your average businessman/entrepreneur doesn’t usually have the ‘cards’ that he has.
What you list as impediments are what his is controlling or seeks to control.

Al Capone would have described himself as a businessman.
