Excellent point Stevo, as I highlighted earlier we export 5 times more goods to the EU than the US. Who are the closer and more significant trading partner? Who are we closer to on security? You are making an excellent case for closer UK/EU ties.

Those stats include services, which are not affected by customs tariffs. Overall we seem to be improving the stats with the current deal.

Who wants to go back to an over-regulated, low growth bloc that makes up only approx 13% of the global economy? And who have major strings attached to any further ties on trading, unlike most other trade deals.

I'm not sure how valid a comparison that is but yeah - who gives a sh!t what the electorate wants? Bloody democracy (such as it is with the UK's corrupt & functionless electoral system), getting in the way of grifting, lying politicians & their obscenely wealthy owners!
