"Under these circumstances, notice roughly 24 hours before removal, devoid of information about how to exercise due process rights to contest that removal, surely does not pass muster,"
The administration is free to use other means to deport people, but at least these should trigger rights.

The orange rapist criticized the Supreme Court's actions, writing on social media, "This is a bad and dangerous day for America!" adding that the ruling will encourage other criminals to enter the country, causing "great harm to our cherished American public."
This overlooks the fact that a criminal is the President.

Thomas and Alito seem to be right in Trump's pocket, but at least the others of Trump's appointees are managing to see some of the consequences of not applying logic and established law to Trump's flagrant breaches. Even Amy Coney Barrett, who has some fairly extreme religious viewpoints, vigorously pointed out the flaws in Trump's argument.

It's still crazy that just nine partisan SC judges can change the course of the US though.
