Well they have deported 140,000 (apparently). Only 11m to go.
Actually, only 61% of the population define themselves as 'white American'.

Did he fark.
He has absolutely no interest in what the American people want. He promised them Turkish Delight. That's all.

And he's failing at all of it. Bigly.

No he didnt'. He did what he was told would make him money, reinforced by what was broadcast at him.

Entirely correct. 👍

'Turkish delight'. lol

He's caused hundreds of thousands of deaths, made his country a laughing stock around the world and made it so unpleasant that anyone in South American feels that they are better off where they are.

Oh big woo.
Now if only the hard of thinking had considered why fuel prices at the pumps had fallen? That the taco rapist is the dictator of country which imports over 3/4 of its oil and certain members countries of OPEC have been exceeding their production quotas, thus depressing prices.

So you DO agree with me that Trump was intelligent enough to choose winning tactics and Harris was dumb enough to choose tactics that made her a loser in the Presidential battle.

A rather one dimensional view don't you think?
[rather like the author]

He got in on the populist vote. He spouted bollox and the people cheered loudly.
The more detailed view is that
a) he was facing possible imprisonment
b) he owes the city of New York some $500m (and E Jean Carrol $87m)
c) The only way to bury the Epstein files (at least whilst he is on office) was to control certain key agencies and key judicial processes to prevent them being released
d) a power hungry narcissist intent on vengeance of those who exposed him in courts

So, assemble sycophants and billionaires who would fund the presidential campaign (have a look at the donor list from heads of social media and mainstream media) and promise them tax breaks and more.
Of course he was going to lie through his teeth to make sure he was elected. Harris chose not to fight on such terms and would probably have faired better had she been proposed much earlier.

Musk put in a mere $270m. There was the FAA investigating a Space X rocket gone pop. All tests were grounded until the investigation was complete. Musk also had health and safety breaches under investigation (including a death at one of the Tesla factories), he was also being investigated for financial irregularity - all bumps in the road, an impediment to his 'progress'. First thing Musk does in his capacity was fire the heads of these agencies investigating him in one capacity or another, including the FAA and not long after that, another Space X rocket goes pop, grounding many flights for hours in Florida. This time, without investigation or consequence.
His appointment as the head of DOGE was very convenient wasn't it?

Now the billionaires get their tax breaks. It's crystal clear what their motives for financing Trump (and using their marketing powers through the media they own) whilst Trump get's a (temporary) immunity in return.
Add the powers that have driven Project 2025 - a white supremacist doctrine that wants to drive patriarchy and put power in the hands of the few. It is mixed up with the Christian Nationalists who are as blind as blind could be and who will always vote for the man who stands up for 'freedom' and takes exception to immigrants and live in the eternal paranoia of 'the deep state' and 'the enemy within'. They spout bile and they contrive adversaries, they are at the heart of the anti-abortion lobby and there's not a snowflakes chance in hell they will vote for Harris, she of a different ethnic group.

It's all here, very succinctly summarised by Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025

The cocktail: Trumps willingness to lie and promise the earth in order to make sure he was elected, the billionaires in the pay of Pompeii and the drivers of the white supremacist ideological paper called Project 2025. It was hard for the bearers of a more realistic politic to win the presidential campaign in the face of lies, money and the media who whipped up sufficient numbers of a gullible electorate jumping on a wave of nationalistic hysteria and idolisation, blind to the inept, the facts and the motives of the orchestrators and the architects .

Trump wasn't guaranteed to win. All the big money was on the Democrats. Many more billionaire's were funding Democrats.

For Musk it was a big risk to put his hat into the ring with Trump

People wanted Trump, when he announced his mission aims. Immigration, wasted costs, woke, die, cost of living, tax breaks

You may not like it, the US people wanted Trump

More on Musk. Stripping the agencies of their authority so that he can do what the hell he likes without regulatory consequence. It's much more than just about pollution. This is why he was interfering in government. Worth a watch: 'A technocracy'. You'll get a widening picture the further in to the video you go. It also raises many other questions.

He's more than probably got a return on his $270m investment.

The Memphis grid weren't able to keep up with the Colossus super computer construction speed. The gas methane were brought in to supplement the energy requirements and give some degree of energy security backup.

Hopefully we can remain smug after our next General Election. They say it's better to learn from other people's mistakes yet there seem to a fair few people in the UK prepared to ignore the warning from the US and believe everything our very own Trump lite tells them about unicorns and sunlit uplands free from horrible foreigners / foreign influence or how doing stuff to protect the planet is woke and bad. Some even post on here.

Might be a bit too long until the next General Election. for many to remember. Dogy is unpopular in the US, Trump/Musk not well regarded in the UK yet
To me politically daft move for Reform to start doing what is so unpoular in the US & UK. But there is a long time before they'll get another vote by which time other issues will be paramount and Reform will have made their cuts, blamed everybody else, etc.

It's not unpopular, only Democrats find it unpalatable. There is nothing better than discovery of waste, fraud, duplication and mismanagement
