There is also the potential that a US intervention may now be the quickest way to bring oil prices back down, or minimise their rise.

There is that worry, but ICE does want to be filmed doing this with impunity, as that's how they spread the fear to the people they are targeting, the aim being to terrify people with brown skin to disappear themselves out of the US.

I like the notion that she bothers to read her X feed replies or DMs.
But, MAGA committed are not in favour of US intervention. eg Steve Bannon is really anti, tucker carlson anti (though his comments already dismissed by Trump.
But can't see what they (or Israel are seeking to achieve. Bomb a facility and it can be rebuilt, particularly if the builders already have the designs, plans, knowledge and experience. Regime change has repeatedly been shown not to achieve what the instigators are seeking. Attacking a country can often draw the population to nationalistic mood, sort of "rally round the flag" which risks increasing support for the very unpopular Iranian regime (at least in their defence against attacks).
Only way I can see to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons is negotiated agreements and reduce their feeling they need such defence. and that seems the one thing Israel doesn't want and won't accept and Trump seems happy to be push around by Netanyahu.
