What's this - Malory towers?

Awfully awfully gosh...

I am sorry but I am not going to pull punches. I made my points. I qualified them. I didn't simply use swear words as adjectives in isolation.

That Donald Trump man is an unscrupulous politician who needs to be reigned in and...

Sod that. The bloke is a f*cking @rsehole. Repetitive, vicarious descriptive prose and an endless listing of faults, discrepancies and misdemeanours is a pointless waste of time.

If the owner of the site wanted swearing he wouldn't have installed a swear filter. I honestly don't see the point in the constant attempts to bypass it. I have probably done it once or twice myself but it's tedious when every other post has swearing in it and I find it just as pointless as you do the 'endless listing of faults, discrepancies etc'.

It's done to make the poster feel better. It adds nothing to the forum.

The trying to shame people by suggesting disliking posters calling people c#nts is old fashioned and prim and proper is also pointless.

Not coarse nor prim. I'll keep it grey.

I'm assuming that the swear filter is merely because it's on the same platform as the 'family friendly' CC forum that doesn't allow me to say "Bonjour" either (though that filter is manually operated).

FTR, I rarely swear, but generally direct it at friends if I do, as that's much more fun.

You wot?
You are going to have to explain to me why bonjour isn't allowed.
G'day mite, Crocodile Dundee stylee 😉

Edited to add: I keep using Doric / Scots phraseology in the moderated world over there, partially to wind up whichever mod was insisting on the use of Inglish. How long before I get banned? Again.

Have you forgotten I've had one reprimand and post deleted and one time-out on the F-F CC part for use of 'foreign language' (despite all my furrin words being in the OED)?

You've clearly made a faux pas. Honestly Brian. with you, this is deja vu. Anyway, we all used the "main" forum as hors d'oeuvres, with this forum being the entre.

(Can't be arsed to find the accents using my phone keyboard, before you take us down a pedandic cul-de-sac.)

The orange dictator of South Canada extends his attacks on immigrants, by prioritising denaturalzation for naturalised citizens who commit certain crimes.

It also appears to remove entitlement to an attorney in civil procedure cases, which have a lower burden of proof. - Which will of course help a now understaffed DoJ.
He's going to leave some people stateless. The UK would never do that. Oh.
