It's a pity there's not as much German in everyday English to test my theory, though perhaps I could steer some conversations onto classical music and start talking about the crescendo poco a poco in the Adagietto that has a climactic sforzando at the tenuto note before the coda and see whether I get told off. After I've listened to a sinfonietta, or a concerto for the violoncello, I always like some pasta, be that linguini, tortellini, spaghetti, tagliatelle or lasagne. So hard to choose.
