Qatari jet estimated cost of refurbishment $1bn, the NYT reports.
The cost was hidden amongst the military budget to update dating nuclear missiles.
All tax payers money.

It has to have a decent b'day with good water flow. Lots of water flow. He's been quite upset about dribbles from liquid facilities.

Also the current presidental planes are nearing end of use. Boeing replacement costs of $3.9bn

My 'centrist' view is not what you think. I simply see the relentless swing from left to right in govt. and I get tired of left vs right. The pendulum swings and nothing really changes. Some socialist based policies I do not agree with, some I do. Some Tory's speak sensibly, not many but some do. So how else do I describe my political bent? I don't have a holiday home.

Tell your pal to answer questions instead of chucking them back. Ask him to respond to the report of the woman detained in a deportation detention centre in the US who gave birth to a still born baby whilst her feet were shackled and she got no medical help. But Schmidt can't. I don't know of a decent human being who would not react to that when asked for an opinion. It's an inexplicable wall that I can only put down to some autistic trait or he's just a cold blooded reptile or his reason for commenting in a thread (to which he has had very little input) is questionable. Either way, you would react wouldn't you, if you were normal?
If that incident does not evoke something, then you need help. So do not condescend me and tell me and others we need a 'sense of proportion'. It's not Stevo's fault that this woman was detained and lost her baby but he hasn't reacted at all to it and I put it to him twice as a lead into the issues we have covered in his absence. That I find, an inexplicable detachment. This effectively is the 3rd time (by proxy).

All this triggered by a comment that a Trump hater group hug meme was a decent summary of the thread. I hope you're a good swimmer as you seem to have gone off the deep end this time: are you going to do a 'Chasey' on us for an encore?

I think those expressing support for Trump fall into two camps: the ones who use him as a way just to wind up the libs, and those genuinely 'in the cult'. But I think for both camps, this is true, if only partly for the ones who use him for trolling.

'Bob Sampson' (whoever he is) is only partly correct. Joe Rogan, podcaster, influencer, one time Trump fanatic thinks that this whole Epstein case is totally suspicious. Rogan even had a go at Netanyahu. This guy has millions of followers - 20m subscribers.
The reprehensible Tucker Carlson is not on board with Trump.
Another right wing nut Alex Jones @therealalexjones (another man with a big following) said about the Trump and the Epstein files and the fact that Trump is implicated in sex with minors "I was sick in my mouth" and went on to say that it was abhorrent (in red neck parlance). An odd light bulb moment for Jones (the right wing, god fearing a hole) when the implication has been long thought of.
