This is why insurance companies have been vertically integrating the whole system, from the dispensary chemist, GPs, health clinics. All bought and paid for.

$16 for a prescription the insurance want $124. Each of those involved in the chain get a cut, and the insurance gets probably double the profit from the same drug bought privately over the counter.
