Nick Fuentes thinks he is white, for most of MAGA he isn't, the clue is in the surname. He makes a lot of noise, but he is irrelevant.

He has a massive following.

I admire your optimism, but reality since 2016 has proven that there's a very large part of the US population that will ignore facts no matter what.

I do not know why people are so determined to contradict.

The MAGA base is currently doing flips and twists over Trumps comments about there not being enough talent in the US and the H1-B visas:

Just another example of the dictator and his projectionism.

The odd thing is is that this is generating more bad sentiment towards Trump than the recent 23k emails and what lies therein.
However, his claim that he severed ties with Epstein long ago and that he kicked Epstein out of 'the club' hasn't gone unnoticed. He's a liar. Epstein was never in the club and his contact with Trump is as late as 2019.

Re: Epstein E-Mails
I have no specific knowledge and just thoughts NOT fact
One of the challenges through the ongoing revelations seems to be the reliability of the accounts from alleged perpetrators and "friends". Can we form any valid view given how many have a track record for blatant lies, unsupported conjecture and downright fantasy.

eg many reports seem to be assuming that the Epstein e-mails represent "truth" but it also sounds like after his conviction maybe he was desperately trying to bolster his own ego. Clearly some did not abandon him but I do wonder about taking anything and everything in Epstein's e-mails as "fact" just as defence from those involved will likely be any twaddle to deflect attention away from themselves.

Those perpetrators have a track record of lies, deception, mistruth, etc. to pursue their own interests.

Although the dates are critical and don't corroborate Trumps BS.

I agree. Not suggesting we ignore the e-mails but recognise that they are all spinning their lies to further their best interests and extracting truth from defensive lies is difficult and personally I find my views of the individuals make it too easy to take some revelations at face value.

Sounds like a great idea, get everyone claiming to reapply - audit the applications to see if you genuinely need benefits

I predict the admin costs will exceed the level of fraud they uncover. But at least it will cause some genuine hardship in the meantime, which is a silver lining.

Admin costs would be high initially, but sorting the fraud and abuse would aid those who truly need it.

Iowa has just announced snap stamps will not be allowed to buy sugary foods, drink, crisps etc

Only good quality food with food stamps. USA certainly has an epidemic of poor health, amongst the poorest

Given Donnie's initial push to get the Epstein files released I am coming round to the idea that he might not be personally implicated.
The question then comes round to just who is he covering up for? Who doesn't he want to name? Must be someone with more power than Andy.

Nah. Trump always says what he thinks serves him best at that moment, and often contradicts himself 5 minutes later. When he said he would release the files, along with the JFK stuff,he was a bit cagey too,s aying there was a lot of "fake stuff"in there. If he were covering for someone else,he'd have thrown them under the bus by now.

There was an article on Politico recently saying that Republican career politicians are starting to think about their positions post 2028, when DJT is due to step down.

It was suggested that many of them are already trying to put some distance between themselves and the whole MAGA agenda. This is contributing to a sense that power is drifting away from him. His cognitive and physical decline, along with the lack of focus on the cost of living adds to this.

For the first time in ages I'm daring to be hopeful.

There's also the defenders of Trump (vi-a-vis Epstein) who are less willing to defend him now in case he's proven to be wholly connected.
