This only reinforces my view that it's really hard to deal with forces for whom 'breaking stuff' is the goal. We saw the same with B Johnson and Liz Lettuce: it doesn't actually matter whether they are competent at governing, because either way, stuff gets broken, at which point their 'solution' is to get their billionaire mates to step in to profit from the ensuing chaos, which will always disproportionately affect the not-rich.

Free speech (Trump style) latest:
Within minutes of Brendan Carr's appearance in front of Congress about the FCC (the body that issues licences for news broadcast organisations), and members' questioning over whether it's independent of government control, the FCC's website is changed to remove the reference to its independence. I suppose they should get a little credit for being honest about *something* (and also for editing a webpage so quickly)
