I don't know what the answer is, but that that is happening/is necessary demonstrates the perilous situation the US is in, and how close they are to the type of civil war that Goebbles-Miller craves... he'd be knocking one out over that footage.

It's interesting to see the re-surfacing of the Black Panthers when there hasn't been any direct persecution of the black community by ICE. I am just wondering what has sparked it. Or do they see future animosity towards them? And, they are not like the moderate 'liberal' whites. They are more than happy to arm themselves. The anti-Christian Nationalist sentiment in black communities must run very very deep. The CN's are at the core of the insurrectionists and all right wing hate groups. Perhaps they see the rise of the CN's as a threat. They are not wrong. Perhaps they see that 99% of ICE agents are white and it's only a matter of momentum and time. 'First the came for...'.
Maybe a civil war is what the US needs. Maybe it's what the world needs?
The world does not need a despotic mafioso boss deploying his jack boots under a protectionist scheme with technocratic ambitions being the driving force. If they plunge into civil war, the US interest abroad recedes. (Farage and his Refuk dies). New trade deals will be struck. NATO will cease and the rest of the world will form new alliances. The technocrats get severely restricted. (Miller just might end up being strung from a lamp post, however bad that seems, i'll keep wishing). The very fabric that supports the technocrats gets obliterated.
Trump and the technocrats are a massive threat to any notions of climate change mitigation.
A civil war would be horrific but the continued rise of fascism, of a corporate take over (coupled with AI) will spell the end of democracy in the US. The effect of this wholly malevolent fascist corporate take over is potentially far reaching and disastrous.

If only there were political institutions in the US that could try to defuse the situation, take control of things like law enforcement, reduce the number of guns, make sure that laws are followed, etc. Pity that there aren't.

I wonder what it would take to break the USA. I know constitutionally it is almost impossible but California is very rich and could certainly go it alone. Other states are probably not in a happy place right now, and this is where civil war might end.
