Yes, the BBC Verify short is damning even on a cursory view. But when I saw this still it still brought me up short with the plainness of the image: shot in the back at point-blank range while his hands were basically on the ground.

The outrage on here is pretty selective. It's possible to think both things are awful but some deaths are more palatable than others on naca.

Yes. Some deaths cause more outrage than others. A combination of who the victim is, who the perpetrator was and sometimes timing

I saw that photo on the right this morning. If it's genuine (which I assume it is), it's pretty irrefutable evidence of murder all by itself.

As the lawyer opined, snapshot doesn't tell the whole story.

There were people screaming, whistles blowing, sirens, a scrum on the ground, weapons found and alleged misfire.

All these are part of the picture to an explanation to why an officer either saw or suspected of seeing a gun and fired his weapon.

Even if the officer was mistaken, he has a almost iron clad self defence position

There are rules to protesting in the USA. Generally you dont get in the way of officers, dont interfere in their duties.

If you do engage directly with officers in a tense heightened situation, and the officers feel threatened in any way-

THEY CAN USE DEADLY FORCE.

That is a valid settled case law defence

So now Minneapolis is getting a Trump appointed Border Zsar. Tom Homan will be managing ICE operations on the ground, which is just MAGA speak for adding another layer of deflection between Trump and the truth.
Unsurprisingly, the disaster that is Kristi Noem thinks it wonderful. Trump’s press whore Leavitt has been putting her unique brand of spin to it, talking about state fraud, but avoiding any mention of murdering US citizens.

All this goes to show that when Trump questions out loud, why his approval rating has fallen through a black hole, that he still hasn’t a clue.

ICE have operated in all states. The difference being the local officials work with ICE, hand over any illegals held in custody or prisons.

There are for obvious reasons less illegals in certain states, because those states dont offer freebies and call themselves sanctuary states.
