It wasn't the point I was making. The WSJ is owned by the once Trump endorsing Murdoch.

That too, indeed.

We should no longer be surprised by the depths of incompetence and brutality, the lack of empathy or the blatant disregard for the constitution.
The whole administration is simply self-serving - it doesn't govern and has no intention of governing. It seems like a smash and grab raid and the owners of the shop not only have to deal with the consequences of loosing stock, they have to deal with the consequences of the damage to the facility to actually function.

Quite, the performative cruelty is a feature.

My worry is that we are starting to see the same from our current UK Government - eg Ms Mahmood with her approach to asylum seekers.

As pointed out before, Nixon’s AG went to prison. Even if Nixon didn’t.
She might run out of road at some point.

Wishful thinking. Who is going to put her in prison, the FBI? The supreme court?

Let's hope so. Her lying and stonewalling is just so brazen, all covering up unconstitutional and illegal behaviour. She has completely trashed the office of AG, which used to be serving the United States, not POTUS.

It's getting harder to avoid the conclusion that MAGA-Trumpism is an actual death cult. I mean, didn't they notice covid? How many millions will end up prematurely deaded because of this ignorance? What, just to own the libs?
