If you're wondering why Starmer first refused US access to UK bases then granted it, I suspect the answer is the same in both cases: US plan is flaky as hell. Shd we join illegal strikes on a country capable of retaliating, with someone this clueless about what next?

Precision attack wiped out all the top levels of the Islamic regime in one night. Thats not flaky, that is well organised, decisive.

Oh no let's not get involved destroy an evil Islamic regime, thats killed over 100,000 Iranian people and been funding terror groups for decades.

Total snowflake woke liberal attitudes

Just reading the news and apparently “the strikes will continue until all objectives have been achieved”.
Funny things is that those objectives have not been clearly outlined.
Is it the removal of the “obliterated” nuclear weapons?
Or is it the regime change which he campaigned on ending?

Didn't you read the Standard.

Trump posted all his aims and objectives as prescribed by woke liberal lefties

Something like 20% of the world's oil passes through Hormuz.
Oil prices will spike as a result of those tankers going nowehere or taking a looong route to their destinations

The next stage, which has been probably been already planned out. To secure the straits by air and sea.

Israel, Saudi, and US will obliterate any missile sites along the western side of Iran

Welcome new member!

Hegseth gives daffodils a bad name.

Hardly a new member - he's been around since last May, with an average of one post per month...maybe that post count would be a good target for our MAGA resident to aim for.

Thanks for the tip on the 'ignore' feature whomever that was.
Just over 12 hours here has taught me I won't learn anything from someone here, so I won't be missing anything.
Always happy to hear well articulated alternative views on world events, but there are limits.

Indeed so. I was thinking about my criteria for using the 'ignore' function, the main one being if a poster has no intention of good-faith discussion and the possibility of understanding (or even learning from) other posters, then they aren't worth wasting brain cells on. And I still genuinely don't understand why other people engage, as all it does is to encourage more bilge.

Your edict was for everyone to use ignore

Hi Randy, apologies I'm new here. But since 8am you've posted 14 links to X (FKA Twitter), is there any reason? Is that this place's de-facto place to post links to?
I'd be surprised if you're not limiting your audience by doing this, most people I know left that platform and the rest of us need either to verify our age and identity, or use a VPN. All a bit of a faff innit?

He’s limited his audience by being a moron so most have him on ignore and only know he exists by him being quoted by those that don’t.
