Trump’s on a rambling press conference.
He has just claimed that Iran would have had a nuclear missile in 2-4 weeks. With absolutely no evidence.

Which is in total contradiction of his previous statement about obliterating their nuclear program.
The Islamic regime were boasting they had enough material to make 11 bombs.

So taking them at face value. It was only fitting to launch a pre emptive strike to ensure they didn't complete their plans

Well they probably did have that much uranium.

But science, m'kay, is hard, m'kay?

The easiest way I can explain it to a child is they had a lot of oranges, but they still needed to do quite a lot of work before they had orange quash.

Iran had from estimates around 240kg of 60% enriched uranium, capable of enrichment to 100-140kg 90%.

The steps to get that level are rather quick, some detailing 2-3 days on available centrifuges.

Enough to make at least 10 nuclear capable fission weapons in very quick order.

So orange squash was almost instantly available to use your analogy
