That was like the headmaster questioning the naughty kids in the playground from the dunce bottom set.

Imagine being involved in a trial overseen by one of these wholly unqualified and unsuitable appointments.

Why would you put yourself through that?
Anyone with any sense of their own ability would have withdrawn from the process.

It's weird as you can tell that she knows full well she is totally unqualified and looks petrified. Usually blaggers are super confident and don't really care, which is why they are usually in these positions, by their own design. You have to assume she thought it was a good idea at the time and went through the process with no realisation that she would actually be questioned on her suitability.

But did she get the post?

Must admit I wasn't quite ready for the 'private' photo of Kristo Noem's husband in 'unexpected' clothes that the Daily Mail published, complete with pneumatic chest addition.

Donald Trump would do well to listen to his younger self—or at least his ghostwriter. In ā€œThe Art of the Dealā€, a book from 1987, the future president warned: ā€œThe worst thing you can possibly do in a deal is seem desperate to make it.ā€ Yet desperate is how he appears to Iran’s leaders, who have time on their side. Mr Trump’s expensive war is alienating America’s allies and weighing on his poll numbers.

Hegseth berating the UK earlier and mocking the British Navy. These clowns are desperate but so arrogant, they believe that belittling the people they want support from will help their cause.

Obvious to the entire world that before Trùmp chose to go to war the Strait was open without issues. So US messes it all up and expects UK/rest of world to sort Trümp's mess. They declare how useless UK navy is but demand it open the Strait even though their navy is there but too scared to go into the Strait.

Trùmp/US has pretty well shed all credibility in the eyes of the rest of the world yet they won't stop digging.

If NATO is ended then when Trùmp reelected it was over as NATO never was Trùmp's personal mercenary force. Better NATO-US get on with organising itself rather than prat around sycophanting to Trùmp and King stays inUK (no visits to pander to Trùmp)
