Giving them as much benefit of the doubt as possible, maybe they're planning on saving their money for the World Cup. Whether you like footy or not, it's one hell of a spectacle (that I'm hoping is a fecking disaster).

I'm going to suggest that USAnians who play golf don't give two hoots about "soccer".
That's for immigrants, children and soccer moms.

Yehbut, still a massive spectacle even for non-footballists. Same as the TdF for non-cyclists, come on, we can't deny the reality, and I bloody hate football.
If the World Cup came to my neck of the woods, I'd go and watch for certain.
Edit to add: The big problem is supporting Infantino's FIFA, that's what would put me off, not that I didn't understand the sport.

Wonder how struggling USanians will respond to Trűmp's latest as they pay yet more to fill up their SUVs
‘I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation,’ says Trump amid Iran talks
Donald Trump has said the growing financial pressure inflicted on Americans by the war on Iran is “not even a little bit” motivating him to make a peace deal with Tehran.

With US inflation at a three-year high, and fuel costs still climbing after a sharp rise in oil prices, the US president said on Tuesday that he is not focused on the economic hardship sparked by the conflict.

“The only thing that matters when I’m talking about Iran [is] they can’t have a nuclear weapon,” Trump told reporters at the White House before boarding a plane to China. “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody. I think about one thing: We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That’s all.”
Should at least be providing the Democrats with something to publicise.

This is just from “reports” so not verified but would anyone be surprised?
Rumours have it that the IRS will settle with Donnie’s $10bn lawsuit against himself. The even more controversial part? The settlement includes that neither Donnie, his family, or their organisations will ever be audited.
Nothing wrong with that, oh no.

It would be quite a lot for hurty feelings.

And quite a lot after he's just admitted that he doesn't care one jot about US citizens' economic plight.

Has this been covered?

Trump threatening to withdraw US defence funding to Taiwan and supports Chinese take over.
'cos he is a weak man with no cards to play.

FT headline: Donald Trump’s plan to discuss Taiwan arms sales with Xi Jinping rattles Asian allies.

Most likely to be B.
Doubt most Americans are even aware of the RoW opinions of them. World news is not mainstream news.

Perhaps when jet fuel quadruples, we shall get even fewer 'Merican golfers.
Then we'll have to export Tourist attractions like say, putting the Andrew (formerly known as 'Prince') in a baboon cage and people could pay to throw rotten tomatoes at him or sending Kate to Hollywood for a Meghan mud wrestling grudge match extravaganza. Think of the merch...

From what I've read the fuel crisis has already affected flights over there with cancellations and price hikes.
But they are energy self sufficient. 😂😂😂
