With my conspiracy theory hat on, I just started to wonder if Tulsi Gabbard's usefulness has diminished now that Trump has decided he's not interested in trying to 'negotiate' with Russia about Ukraine, now he's got bored with Ukraine and Iran, and his 'focus' has moved back to Cuba and Greenland. Gabbard has long had the conspiracy theorists wondering about her Russian links.

Tulsi Gabbard was the one who advised Trump to run on a 'no more foreign wars' campaign as well as personally, totally against conflict abroad. She really is one of the architects, if not, the architect of the whole 'America first' ethic. So it is quite possible that she is leaking info though I doubt that. I think she's distancing herself from Trump and her husband does have cancer which I believe, presented a perfect exit opportunity with PR written all over it. Dissenters on the Iran conflict are surplus to requirements (Joe Kent).

Trump's staffers and people inside the WH are leaking stuff all over the place as it's a mess. So you could point your finger at any number of individuals - there's leaks about the internals goings on in the FBI and the Pentagon. If the public sentiment of govt. popularity is in the low 30's, then there is nothing to suggest that this is reflected in internal departments no matter how non-partisan they are supposed to be. Couple this with all the DOGE antics - firings and un firings etc, there is probably a huge number of individuals who totally resent this regime. It doesn't have to be a high profile individual.

Or her husband has bone cancer and she just wants to be with him.

Maybe, but other opinions are available. Anyway, I did say "with my conspiracy theory hat on".

Trump drawing attention to the fact that it was his inability to be the butt of jokes by Stephen Colbert that got Colbert's show cancelled, by tweeting out an AI video of Trump fighting Colbert. Something tells me that Colbert is going to find a vehicle to carry on ridiculing Trump, and probably one that gets more attention than the late night CBS show.

WASHINGTON, May 23 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump may have won just about every battle against Iran, but three months after attacking the Islamic Republic he now faces a bigger question: Is he losing the war?
With Iran’s grip on the Strait of Hormuz, its resistance to nuclear concessions and its theocratic government largely intact, doubts are growing that Trump can translate the U.S. military’s tactical successes into an outcome he can frame convincingly as a geopolitical win.

Trump was asked about loosing control of the senate (re: war powers resolution), ducked the question and started waffling about the ballroom.

It does make me wonder if it would be better to build Trump a ballroom and bunker next door to a twilight home for terminally confused ex-presidents and to hire a rotating cast of old white men to come and stand around a desk telling him how wonderful he is. And otherwise just keep him busy flying on jets and playing golf.

He's struggling to sell this whole thing. He has failed to get Iran to concede any ground. Iran has already levied taxes on some freight and allowed passage meaning that Iran's global position is higher then what it was before Trump went and bombed them. So he has steered a war ship towards Cuba and laying of the rhetoric and groundwork of possible aggression towards them has already started.

Epstein said to Bannon (and this often gets lost, even in here): "If any of this sh*t* comes out, Trump will be cornered like a rat and he will need 'total distraction...". This is not made up stuff. This sentiment is in print and was in the limited files that were released.
Iran hasn't achieved the distraction. I am sure he contemplated nukes and I am 100% sure the military hierarchy was opposed to it. I think the distraction has an added layer: he is deeply unpopular and the economy is suffering.

*The 'sh*t' being stuff he had done.

The ballroom is in limbo anyway. Trump keeps going on about the ballroom and currently, not a lot is happening. He's struggling to get security clearance, planning permission and funding.

They should create some Bob the Builder builds a ballroom series and plonk him in front of the telly.

Yup, the $70bn bill that included the J6 $1.766bn bung and the $1bn ballroom/bunker has caused even Republicans to go "Whoa, hang on a minute!!", so they've all run away rather than vote on it.

Meanwhile, let's not overlook Obama's tan suit.

...and in the very realistic fear of loosing the vote on the war powers resolution, Grindr 'Moses' Mike Johnson cancelled the vote and kicked the can down the street and set it to another date.
