Yes, I have been following this. He's a very doddery old f*ckwit who's had multiple moments in public (including just falling over when being questioned) when the lights are on but Mr Brain is not at home yet the MAGA's and the Fox News just don't report it. Donnie is the same - they don't comment. If this was a Democrat/Biden, they would be apoplectic.
In the same vein, demented Donnie gave an interview where he grabbed a book in a style that suggests depreciating co-ordination: interpreted by a dementia specialist as going back to basic grabbing instincts which is a natural default setting if you like. Also, Donnie struggles with any words of more than 2 syllabubs*....
*err, eh?

Yeah he's got that dementia based kleptomatic thing going on, it's fairly widely noted. Plus he can't walk in a straight line. Has sleeping patterns that don't reflect circadian rhythms. Forgets where he is at NATO conferences. Conflates memories. Loses track of his thoughts. Finishes words with I coherent sounds because he can't get to the end of them.
Guy has dementia, is as plain as day. It's worse than Regan had. And will, in a few decades be a part of the historical record of how lucky we all were that someone gave him a fake red button to press.

Can't find the link now but there was a suggestion based on a leak from the hospital that he's now on life support so just a matter of time. His daughter (I think) has deactivated social media and family are no longer giving updates.
Edit: It's mad that there's no enforced retirement age for US politicians. Just realised he's been in the Senate for almost my entire adult life, and I'm really old.

Yes, he was apparently discussing Ukraine, Iran, and the history of the Senate, despite having been resuscitated at home and taken to hospital in a specialist life support ambulance a couple of weeks ago. That would be a miraculous recovery for a man his age.
