Shokz are great, I may have a defective ear but my bone conduction is very good.
What's the quality like?
Probably just what I'm used to hearing but I adjust the equaliser on pretty well all music I listen to to generally boost the trebble and normnally the bass a bit (though these days a lot of systems have far far too much bass already).

I don't use the earbuds they "seal" into your ear but the lose fitting ones (I'm lucky as whilst they feel insecure they are actually very good at staying in and have never dropped out).

I had to replace my Airpods recently (batteries gone on the old ones) and got some of the noise cancelling ones (as it was trivial extra) and I like them as you can adjust the level of noise reduction (I leave off most of the time).

The quality is good enough for me, but if you are a proper audiophile I doubt they would cut it.

It still seems to me a challenge to live your life so carefully that - at all times - you can bear the thought of yourself.

I don't mean to be rude, but these [religious] ceremonies were probably a lot more uplifting back in the Middle Ages, when everyone was always about to die from a disease they got from touching a rat.

Totally not NCAP but a saying I use a lot which my brother reminded me of recently. To do with carpentry and wood and how to manage it:

"As long as possible for as long as possible"

In addition to the more famous "Measure twice, cut once"

Quel monstre! Dark, oily suspect yet awfully like Oscar: has Oscar's coy, carnal smile & fatuous giggle & not a little of Oscar's esprit. But he is awful - a veritable tragedy of family-likeness.

Oh, and...thumbs-up to a fire engine?

Suddenly takes me back to yesterday evening, front window top floor of the W3, bus slows down to let people across at the zebra crossing, me of whom is a definitely rather odd but cheerful-looking bloke, long straggly grey hair, Hawaian shirt, and a candle held for no obvious reason in his right hand, which I presume had caught the attention of the driver, because the old feller holds it up, 'blows it out', and grins in the driver's direction.
