I have made no reference at all to anyones politcas or otherwise.

I just find it interesting in the posts on here, no one has mentioned the elephant in the room about the particular officer allegedly involved in the abuse.
You can try to launch personal attacks on me - that just reflects badly on you and shows attempts to divert away from the sexual abuse allegations.

Very good.

That's twice you've not mentioned Hassan Ali and that he's of Asian heritage. Interesting...

He's not an elephant, he appears to be a corrupt policeman.

The implication peddled by the likes of Braverman, Farage and others, has always been that there was something wrong with those communities, which produced the grooming gangs. Inaction was attributed to reluctance to appear racist.

The picture that appears to be evolve seems to be of criminal gangs colluding with corrupt policemen who kept a lid on things for their own profit.

Quite, but, there were also claims on BBC that it was not just monetary profit, or, indeed any monetary profit.

Personally, I have no idea if there is a racial aspect to this, but, covering up will not help, either way, IMHO.

The BBC coverage I watched made no reference to Braverman or Farage (yes, I know the latter is an unusual omission).

Interesting that people seem to omit the identity and race of the policeman named by the BBC ( who incidentally died years ago in a car crash)

Come on then 666 spit it out. Why do you find it interesting? Is it pertinent or is it just coincidental? Tell us what you're actually thinking/implying.

It's tragic that anyone here fears openly stating the name or race of an Officer of the Law; what happened to Free Speech?! Is he afraid of woke reprisals? Cancellation??

Hassan Ali wasn't under investigation for corruption. One victim of the gangs has claimed that he raped her. Victims have also alleged he was unwilling to pursue complaints of exploitation. The other 3 ex/retired South Yorkshire police officers who have been arrested (currently unnamed) were arrested on suspicion of sexual offences and misconduct in public office.

The 'corruption' is not financial. It's allegedly actively participating in ongoing sexual abuse, in fact facilitating it, and covering up large scale sexual offending for the benefit of themselves and others. You can't wave this away as though it's just some bent coppers taking back handers in an episode of The Sweeney. It is a very different scenario.
