No response as yet from Iran; I suspect this claim by Trump is from his vivid imagination, and no such "detailed and constructive conversations" have taken place in reality. TACO

Were Iran to start talks, I'd be surprised if getting some way of ensuring neither US nor Israel attack in future. From Iran's perspective, no point in agreeing anything with US if 2 days later Israel pilots fly US jets dropping US bombs on them targeted from US intelligence.

And we get to a similar situation as at some point Ukraine will face as in what guarantees will be secure and acceptable for confidence Netanyahu or Trümp won't just ignore them 2 days later.

Actually pretty easy for US to pay Iran reparations as they could just buy oil or lift sanctions allowing US to declare "we didn't pay" and Iran to declare "we were paid".

The Venezuelan oil isn't that useful to the USA. But Donnie has a plan. He's lifting sanctions on Iranian oil which will raised about $14bn for Iran so that they can buy more weapons to kill Americans with. At the same time he's lifting sanctions on Russian Oil, rewarding Russia for helping Iran to try and kill American soldiers.

However. Israel's leader is already regarded as a war criminal by those countries who haven't yet decided to ignore the ICC, so there is an easier case for both those countries and Iran to no longer be in conflict, if the US pulls out.

Before getting too excited, he pre-empted this about the Dems being a threat and I wonder now if he will turn his full attention on mid term election interference.

Just a thought: when the US Navy finally gets home, the onboard hell that they have suffered having been at sea for almost 12 months and were running out of food and water, the stories might start circulating.
