Yep. A world power fighting thousands of miles from home, with limited supply lines, against a plucky underdog with far more skin in the game.

Now, that sounds familiar, where have I seen that sort of situation before? 😂

Then more fool the people who don’t have him on ignore.
Imagine him posting the sheer quantity of garbage he does, but no one would see any of it.
Think of a somebody in a pub spouting endless racist tropes, complete twaddle and listening to nobody, answering no questions. Would those so determined to interact with such a person here be ignoring the sensible fact based conversation on the other tables to focus on the complete crâp from the Twitter-fanatic endlessly repeating complete garbage? Most would not be wasting their time.

So if people wouldn't do that in the pub why do it here?

Aye, two on the site at Aberdeen.

Turnberry is probably the most realistic target given how much further north Aberdeen is, but surely the missiles would be on their last legs by that point and a light gust would blow them away?

Or they may fall short, and land on Newcastle? 😂

Missing a target in the middle of the Ocean, missing the target in the UK, still a pretty good chance you will hit something.

That is particularly true in the South East, if any of you Iranian "sleepers" are reading this forum. 😊

Some bizarre framing by Byline Times. If you accept that armaments are sadly a part of national defence, then selling parts to an ally hardly feels problematic. The problem is a one-time ally going completely rogue.

Not sure which is worse. The MOD or grown men who sit outside an airfield in the cold to watch a killing machine fly in/out.

In fairness, the guy on the left does have a "Warning! I'm an A$$hole" written on his top...

Yeah, I get people going to the Mach Loop to take photos as that’s challenging and gives some incredible photo opportunities but hanging around an airfield fence is pretty sad. Also, if there’s a security risk in what can be seen then a bit of netting on the fence is pretty poor. In reality I doubt there’s anything secret that can be seen and the planes are visible once they get airborne anyway.

I don't find it any weirder than trainspotting.

Both are a equally weird.

Plane spotters or train spotters for that matter are not harming anyone, if they find it enjoyable they don't have to explain why.

I'm by no means a trainspotter, but I do enjoy my mornings/evenings walking through Central Station to get to work. There's something quite soothing about the acoustics in there, maybe that's part of the appeal?

Though I did get quite nerdy about which of the old Tyne and Wear Metro carriage numbers/designations were being taken out of commission to make way for the new fleet.
