All the US has really managed to achieve (other than an imagined destruction of Iran’s military and nuclear manufacturing capabilities) is to show Iran has a really strong bargaining chip they had previously been to scared to use. They now know they can use it with impunity and come out of this stronger than at the start.

Not sure it is a "new" revelation, but, I think they have also demonstrated (again) that just because you have lots of warships, and war planes, does not mean you can automatically win.

As per Russia v Ukraine.
But Donnie just sees "cards" and assumes a weak hand means that you will fold. He should have learned something from casinos. ;)

Well, it's not April 1st any more and Badenoch has said something that I fully agree with. #conflicted ;)

Badenoch has been asked about President Trump telling allies to go and get their own oil from the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaking in Redcar, Teesside, the Conservative leader says the "special relationship is between the UK and the US, not between Donald Trump, and Keir Starmer".
"But if I was speaking to him [Trump], I'd be saying, 'if you break it, you own it'," says Badenoch.
"He should now not be abandoning a mess that he's made, if he thinks that it is a mess.
The Tory leader says she wants to see the conflict "brought to an end", arguing that "it doesn't feel like there is a co-ordinated plan" to achieve this.

She wanted to join the bloody war in the first place. So she has zero credibility on this subject.

Says much about her, being lauded for coming out and stating the bleeding obvious.
