Not sure it is a "new" revelation, but, I think they have also demonstrated (again) that just because you have lots of warships, and war planes, does not mean you can automatically win.

"He should now not be abandoning a mess that he's made, if he thinks that it is a mess.
The Tory leader says she wants to see the conflict "brought to an end", arguing that "it doesn't feel like there is a co-ordinated plan" to achieve this.

Exactly. Possibly helps the country to have a unified government on this thorny subject though.

I think even Farage has acknowledged Starmer's stance on things in a positive way. Seems like he now realises Trump's not going to shag him.
