If you badly weaken an sleeping giant it's still a gaint, you can ask Japan how that works out. Now the US is no Japan and Iran is no US but it's still an very big country with 47 years of preparation, and the efforts weren't and what i have so far seen still aren't concentrated on decimating the Hormuz straith defenses, missile launchers etc. But that does not take away they calling Iran "winning" is and strange statement. Looking at the state of things, and i also repaet my earlier statement what if they would be able to unblock Iran's internet blockage? so people can actually see what happening and we can actually see what happening inside Iran it might paint a different picture.

I don’t think anyone is saying Iran is winning but it has certainly made it obvious how easily they can make things difficult for others. Even the US leaders don’t seem to understand what they were aiming to achieve through their military action which seems to me to be the crucial first step when going down that road.

Maybe same applies to so much Trūmp has been doing eg tariffs. Which suggests rest of world expending so much focus on US is just futile and we'd all be better off focusing on each other. Spend effort negotiating deals with Trűmp and next day Truth Social tears-up for agreement ot you're hit in a different area ...
