Everyone can see he is totally unreliable, so how does Iran, EU and UK deal with that?
With respect to EU/UK dealing with Trūmp/US being unreliable: Focus on the rest of the world (eg closer ties with EU, etc.) and stop wasting time with the US.

With respect to Iran: I don't know. Maybe there are possibilities with Arab states stepping up and recognising that US isn't acting in their interests. Maybe more involvement from UN (though maybe they've not got enough authority). Maybe US can sort out some "checks & balances" on Trūmp that would constrain him to allow other possibilities. I'd guess that with any outcome Iran will need to retain the capability to defend themselves eg in terms of weapons development & manufacture.

Agreed.

The only resolution I can see is for the US to go home while Iran makes some vague promises.
Like with Obama, Trump 1 Biden and all the governments before that? I think Trump and friends will make a final push anytime in the future or at least that would be the aim. In previous years i would be convinced they would be successful but they have replaced so many competed people would those who agree with Trump that I'm not to sure anymore.

Donnie saying that Iran "Hasn't paid big enough price".
So he basically wants to punish them and peace is off the table until it has happened. Unless he means cash which is not implausible.

He's a sadist: he gets a rush from the suffering of others. For him there is no such thing as a win-win scenario, as in his tiny warped brain, someone has to lose for someone else to win.

Better result will be to kill a few thousand Islamic guards and leaders. So they dont go around murdering 40,000 citizens who were protesting.

If only there were a way to do so without killing another 40,000 citizens or more as collateral damage.

They won't dare put soldiers on the ground in Iran and war via rockets and planes is not very surgical or selective...as we have seen in Gaza and in that school in Minab.

That puts them in a bit of a bind. They either have to admit that their missiles are not accurate, or claim that they are accurate which means that the school was intentional. If it wasn't intentional then they must have dodgy intel. What is it? Bad missiles, bad intentions, or bad intel?

All three?

I think most independent sources say that it was due to dodgy intel...apparently an out of date map, years old, from when the school building was part of the military buildings.

Which is interesting, considering how up-to-the-minute their knowledge of individuals' locations was/is.

Darn sight better than the carpet bombing of big wars of the past.

If they missile did hit the school, this is extremely regrettable. However its is war, mistakes can and do happen.

The targeting has been so precise overall. Obviously for the Irgc supporters on here, unless its 100% perfect-then its a failure in missile technology, couldn't hit a barn door accusations
