Trial by jury, free speech, best prime minister, gender, the Greens, and other topics that would be shut down on the main site, are indeed odd threads to start on this forum. Or perhaps it was 'Favourite quotes' which triggered you?

I'd like to add that I don't like Keir Starmer, he's not working class enough, he's not put taxes up enough and he's too pro Trump and big business and he's copying Reform to stop bleeding support. I hope that by including this comment in here it finally proves once and for all that NCAP isn't the lefty echo chamber that some would have it because I've criticised the Labour government.

I'll add: I do actually pay attention to the important stuff. But we're so overloaded with Trump that I think a lot of people end up tuning out. And the TDS AuroraSaab mentions is very real. He could pronounce that water is necessary for life, and some would dehydrate just to spite him.

It’s a reason I can't get excited about Labour's leadership antics. Current incumbents are a disaster but I can't see anybody in waiting who would likely be any better.

No leader is going to be rewarded as this country inevitably gets poorer post Brexit.
