I know you think that history started on the 7th of October 2023, but some of us have been around for much longer, and can read about things that happened before we were around.
No that is a misfabrication, what i say is the current conflict the current war is part of a new war, off course there is a longer conflict but like the example i gave before regardless if you agree with the politics behind it our not, the first and second gulf wars where two different wars and conflicts parts of a much larger conflict which was half-arsed solved with the removal of Saddam.
So similarly there is indeed an larger conflict but the current war is an seperate war into that conflict. So cherry picking 50 years in the past to claim .''this is why nobody likes Isreal isn;t really going to work.'' Reasons enough why not the like Isreal but this topic has been balanced towards hating Isreal enough as it is, and and ignoring whatever Hamas does because ''they are terrorist'' but that doesn't really work that way having one standard for the one and a other for the other.
But all together i still don't see how you have different standard for Iran in this topic.
Just turned on the BBC news to see a report of the Jewish man threatened with arrest at a pro-Palestine march this weekend, with calls for Met chief to resign
Yeah i think they calls to resign should stop it takes a long time to train someone and if they have to resign after every fart the quality will go down instead of up on the longer term.
No mention that the man just happened to be there with his own film crew, and that his name is Gideon Falter, and is a pro-Israel paid lobbyist, nor that he was there to provoke a confrontation.
That is a comment similar to ''if women walk in a mini skirt, they ask to be inappropriately touched etc.'' If you go to a protest you have to abide to the rules or our soceity which includes that you may protest but may not harrass, attack, assuslt or abuse anyone, During there protest clearly the police dropped a ball or two and personally i'm not a fan of those ''provoke filmers'' either whatever their intentions are but still, democracy only works if it's the same for anyone.
Feel threatened? The pro-Palestine marches have been exceptionally peaceful and contain many jewish people.
That is a bit contradictory, if they are peace angels than why
Gideon Falter was there in the hope of provoking an incident. All he needs is a ready supply of mugs.
Is your boogeyman/bad actor able to provoke this persons of peace? (not denying that he possibly/might/deliberatly went there to provoke, if it are such angels like you claim nothing would have happened)
Meanwhile there are reports coming out of Gaza of mass graves being uncovered with executed victims. No mention of this on our very partisan news service.
Totally not relevant but maybe they are a bit more carefull i remember something in the beginning of the war about a hospital parking lot, all media directly copied the claim of 500 deaths, due to an isreali rocket but it turned out to be much more likely an Palestinian rocket, and estimates of death ranging from 10 to 300.(the huge difference in numbers is only because the Palestinian authority isn;t a reliable source, but there are no people to check on the ground either.
I had a gallows chuckle to myself listening to the radio earlier when the presenter was asking someone about the discovery of mass graves, which went along the lines of:
"So a massive grave has been discovered."
"Yes, the Israeli government is looking into it."
You known once upon a time there was a big media tower in Gaza with international journalist claiming to bring independend news, then one day Isreal called them and told them to get out and the tower was blown up, big media outrage blahdieblah then years later it turned out coverage wasn't that independ after all and Hamas regularly beat=up journalist who wrote content they didn't like and they used that tower als rocket launching base.
So before you once again claim with so many or so little words it's all Isreal biased, maybe realise that the other side does not want their honest side to be heard only what they want to show.
But yes i agree ''mass grave found, one party in the war is investigating it'' but please answer this question, why do you think many countries aren't exactly keen to send in an ''peace force'' ? like they did in Darfur, different part of Africa etc.?
