Hamas’s armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, was formed in 1991. But for the first decade of its existence the reality was rather different from the image of paragliding militants with which it is now associated. Poorly armed cadres spent most of their time moving between the countryside and their mothers’ apartments. If they were lucky they had access to a few intercepted submachine guns (mostly Uzis and Carl-Gustaf m/45s), but little more. Israel hoped that the Palestinian Authority on the West Bank would provide a facsimile of self-government and a safe but ineffectual outlet for Palestinian demands for liberation. But the PA’s shortcomings kept generating justifications for more active forms of struggle, which Hamas seized on. In 1994 it conducted its first suicide bombing inside Israel after the massacre of 29 Palestinians by a far-right Jewish extremist at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.

Well we have in this topic and on the international stage seen enough criticism on Isreal supporting Hamas in some capacity(most noteably at least in 2017 going by nethanyahu's words) which i agree was a stupid idea, especially since their founding principles are ''the destruction of Isreal'' but you think after making an mistake once, they are keen to make an mistake again? Why do you think Palestinians need help anyway? In the west the Palestinians are being portrayed as people that need our help but if there is one thing we have seen over the past 15 years is that all that aid only helped Hamas more than anyone else, and now Hamas has been seriously weakened we see their rein of terror is no longer effective and it seems maybe their days may come to an end after all. And for the record under Hamas only those joining Hamas lived well, all others saw their children die due to lack of clean water, because Hamas destroyed the clean water supply to build rocket launchers.
Secondly, only of these opposition militia's slogans/banners compares Hamas directly to Isreal, so it's not likely they would be even wanting support from Isreal at all.
Because you are an elite member of the Hamas fanclub..

Does make me wonder who are you gonna support if Hamas is defeated and Palestinians takes their country back like original intended, before Hamas took power in 2008?
Or do you need a other propaganda story 20/30/40/50 or more years back in time to feed the lie Hamas are actually sweathearts?
