You haven't called these unidentified men traitors, collaborators, and spies, or basically said 'FAFO' so there's no reason to think you condone their execution.

Calling them, or repeating that they have been called, those things is not condoning anything.
All of those things have nuanced meanings depending on the circumstances, something this thread is not that good at.

Prisons and sport for one. You're the epitome of the Reasonable Man, the man who quietly argues the pro trans position but takes umbrage when this is pointed out as an anti women stance.

So there is just one pro trans position? And every element of that position is anti women?

I always believed there were many aspects to sympathising with or supporting male or female transition. Some aspects, and I am not getting involved in a point by point analysis, I support/sympathise with more than others.

It is nuanced.

Very little of it is nuanced. The 'It's nuanced/complicated' approach is invariably used to the detriment of women eg Men can go in women's jails if they've been risk assessed, and men can be in women's sports if they suppress their testosterone.

The nuance never seems to benefit women.

My concern would be that much of what Trump claims is complete twaddle.

I have no idea the real causes or reasons for the delay but maybe Hamas knew exactly where the bodies are but when they go there now there is no longer any recognisable road and where they were previously in a basement even if they can find the building they suddenly discover they are now under many tons of rubble. Add that it is possible that the ":we know where they are" was said by the negotiators in Qatar/Egypt/etc. who didn't fully appreciate exactly how hard it is to find a location when the roads have disappeared and apartment blocks are just piles of twisted steel and rubble.

That deal was never going to be upheld by either side in it's entirety.
Israel have said from Day 1 that a sovereign Palestine State cannot happen.

The plot thickens with the body that was not a hostage. It seems it has been identified as a Palestinian last seen in the West Bank. He was detained in 2020 and not seen in his home town again. He was thought to be working with Israel

Hamas claims to have killed him in battle which is consistent with their claims in 2024 of taking a dead soldier. At the time Israel denied this saying all its soldiers were accounted for.

So he was either a human shield used by Israel, fully fighting for Israel or killed by Hamas and blamed on Israel.

Not atall. There are aspects I cannot know (sitting in the UK) but there are aspects that one must recognise can complicate things. There is nothing in my comment "making excuses for terrorists" and suggesting such is a poor way to disagree with my comment.

I have wondered for some time now the likelihood of hostages (dead or previously alive) being under the rubble of bombings.
