WASHINGTON, June 3 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump acknowledged calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "crazy" in an expletive-filled phone exchange over fighting in Lebanon, while the ‌U.S. was trying to negotiate an end to hostilities with Iran.
In an interview broadcast on Wednesday, Trump was asked whether he had called the longtime Israeli leader "effing crazy" and accused him of ingratitude, paraphrasing a report by Axios.

"I did," Trump told the "Pod Force One" podcast. "I wouldn't say angry. I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly fighting with Lebanon, you know."
Trump went on to say he and Netanyahu get along very well.
According to the Axios report, which cited an unidentified U.S. official, Trump said to Netanyahu in a call on Monday: "You're fúcking crazy. You'd be in prison if it weren't for me. I'm saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this."
Trump said in the interview: "At some point, I said, Bibi, we got to stop this. We got to stop it."

Well at least he had a brief moment of lucidity. Maybe he'll invade Israel next.

Previous US presidents had enough authority to reign in some of the excesses of Israel. Trump has no authority, no moral compass, no dignity, even.

The mere fact he pushed back a little is remarkable. Whether that heralds any material change remains to be seen. Or... there's some grift going on or... he is sh*tting his pants over how unpopular his relationship with Israel has become domestically.

He's just realised that Israel attacking Lebanon is why Hormuz won't open and blocking any chance of a withdrawal while saving face.

Palestinian baby shot dead by Israeli troops in occupied West Bank
Israeli troops killed a seven-month-old Palestinian baby in the occupied West Bank and injured one of the child’s parents after opening fire on the family’s car, despite it having complied with an order to stop.
...
The Israeli military said troops had fired at a vehicle they believed was moving towards them, but an initial inquiry found those injured were uninvolved civilians.
...
He [Fahd Abu Haikal, a lecturer at Bethlehem University] said it was still daylight and that the soldier who opened fire could clearly see the occupants were a family. “The soldier signalled me to stop. I brought the car to a complete halt and raised my hands on the steering wheel. Immediately afterwards, they opened fire on the vehicle,” he told Haaretz.
Madness. Is this sort of thing ever going to allow Israelis to live in peace?

it makes you want to vomit.
The depravity and the levels of stifling free press go hand in hand.
You cannot criticise Israel because you will be accused of anti-semitism.
I don't know where the point was when the IDF and the rhetoric behind the motive where Palestinian lives became worthless.
There should be open shame and dissent from moderate Israeli's, never mind global political will to sanction and punish the current Israeli administration. They have become as bad as the Nazi's that persecuted them.

Netanyahu shows Trump who wears the trousers in their relationship.

Indeed. Trump went off on a couple of truth social rants - you know in that demented old bloke in the home sort of way, pointing the finger at Bibi but Bibi is ignoring him.
I guess the Sekatary of War and the Christian Nationalists who are in bed with the notion of superior ethnicity, aren't going to intervene.

Which leads to the Mormons being taken off the list of acceptable religions in the US (this came from the SoB SoW ^ and the Pentagon).
...and the Mormons are bleating about it. So the Mormons want to be on the list of accepted white supremacism where ethnic cleansing either domestic or international is de rigeur and the club to be in I guess.
