I haven't caught up with why the Mormons have been deemed unacceptable. Are they Somalian, or something?
Someone in the Whitehouse must've got the Mormons confused with the Memons.

The right arm doesn't know what the far right arm is doing.
The far right arm thirst for brown people's blood will override any consideration raised by the right arm.

Several places in the old testament.
But the honest thing to say is that other religions have similar provisions. There was a womens marchs going on just before the war in Isreal calling for both sides to live in peace, most of the participants are now killed by either Hamas or the idf. But those coming from Gaza where taking the biggest risk because even without 7 October they would risk being called "traitors" and getting Hamas "traitors" treathment.Several places in the old testament.

Which is directly linked to the one Hamas(and proxies and precessors) uses you can't brand one side religiously minded crazy whilst ignoring the other. All religious texts are equally contemptible, but we are talking about the one Israel uses as an excuse for its behaviour.
It's pretty much in the Hamas founding statement that Israel/'Palestine' is, and always was, an Islamic nation exclusively for Muslims.
It's very much a claim to an exclusive divine right.

This is from the same school of theological thinking that claims Jesus as a Muslim prophet despite him predating Islam by centuries.
Both sides are as batsh#t as each other in their appeals to divine claims to a chunk of land that - just like many others - went back and forth between empires and countries for millennia.
