They re edited the series and decided to broadcast it as it was unfair to the contestants.

Wallace is getting loads of heat. I’m surprised how little heat Jay Blades is getting in the press and he’s charged with rape.

I guess because he hasn't tried to justify his actions by blaming some sort of mental illness . . .

I'm not surprised in the slightest.
Jay Blades is currently awaiting trial on serious criminal charges and so the matter is covered by the Contempt of Court Act and reporting or discussion is servely restricted until the case is concluded.

Wallace is not subject to such proceedings and his situation is not therefore covered by the Contempt of Court Act

Uncertain. Switched on TV yesterday evening and who suddenly appeared on my screen - Greg Wallace (the person found to have 45 complaints upheld). Same happened a few days ago. Despite the independent investigating upholding large numbers of the complaints BBC still plastering him all over TV bradcasts.

(Needless to say he didn't stay on my screen but that is the case before the investigation findings and before the allegations hit headlines).

2 contestants have asked to be edited out of the series.

I think there is always a danger with the Beeb of over reacting in response to an under reaction.

Naga Munchetty is currently under intense scrutiny for being a bit of a diva, and offending a millenial. That's an over reaction, in response to not really minding Huw Edwards.

Not dealing with Greg Cheeky Chappie Trouser Snake Wallace sooner, under reaction.

Sacking Torode? Possibly over reaction.

Expunging them both from history. That would be an over reaction.

Frankly all the hand wringing about our screens being soiled with their images. Over reaction and you need to get out more.

Not a fan of any of them, and have not followed the various allegations, but, in Blades' case, don't we do "innocent until proven guilty" anymore?

Again last night. BBC are really plastering the <???> individual all over our screen.

That said I quickly changed channels as I find his presence "distasteful".

As I have probably mentioned, one can opt out of the State's subscription TV, just like any other service.

It's an increasingly popular & understandable option.

Were you offended at exactly the same time as last week?
Wasn't last week, just a day or two ago.

Not "offended", just find it "distasteful" and how it send a bad message to those behaving in the same manner and I see it as the wrong signals to the victims of such behaviour.
