Wasn't last week, just a day or two ago.

Not "offended", just find it "distasteful" and how it send a bad message to those behaving in the same manner and I see it as the wrong signals to the victims of such behaviour.

To be fair to the BBC (sorry to be off trend for the thread!). They were stuck between a rock and a hard place on this albeit one of their own making. Some of the contestants would have put careers on hold etc. to take part so it would be harsh on them and especially the ones who did well to cancel the show but the format makes it pretty much impossible to edit Wallace out.

They re edited the series and decided to broadcast it as it was unfair to the contestants.

Wallace is getting loads of heat. I’m surprised how little heat Jay Blades is getting in the press and he’s charged with rape.

Again, to play devil’s advocate should anyone get heat over allegations / charges before they even go to trial? There are a plenty of examples of people, famous or not, that get charged and found not guilty but who end up with the ‘no smoke without fire’ label whether there was a fire or not. Blades sounds like a pretty unpleasant person whether guilty of those particular charges or not but I’d rather he goes to trial without a media pile on. If nothing else it reduces the chance of any chances of him claiming he had an unfair trial.

So neither of them got very far then. No sign of the winners or runners up asking to be edited out...

weird.
I'm watching an episode on iPlayer.

There are a few old series on there. Has anyone one series 18, 19 or 20 asked to be edited out?

To be fair, one of the contestants didn't ask to be edited out, they asked for the entire series to be scrapped. The BBC and Banijay, the production company, refused and therefore decided to edit her out.

Please explain how as their reporters are not allowed in. All information is 3rd hand.
The extended and harrowing recording of an Médecins Sans Frontières witness on the BBC Radio 4 today was very much first hand.

So, not a journalist but a citizen reporter.

Or a Hamas propagandist according to the Israeli side, no doubt. An account which somewhat relies on the fact that they've taken great pains to keep reporters out.
