An opportunity for Truss?

I would support her standing as the Reform candidate
I think she would show that Reform has the foresight to look around and embrase a true politician whose real talents were not fully appreciated previously
and who has a genuine ability to reach out to trump and his loyalists in the USA and reflect his heartfelt ability to connect with the real people

or maybe just because it would guarantee that Reform loose

to be honest - I would almost be tempted to help out with Labour posting leaflets or something (they are just over the bridge from here)

not because I am a dedicated Labour supporter
but just to help make sure Reform loose properly

To those saying Reform have no chance - that is based on a well know and trusted MP and in a normal backwater seat

in this by-election the Labour candidate will either be an unknown (to most people) or someone shipped in and people round here are sometimes a bit wary of people from other places

and, of course, it will be a big deal so we can expect the big guns to turn up and say stuff

so we can probably expect a visit from Farage - or may Tice
probably both if they can't decided who is more important

and some cabinet members will probably turn up to counter them which means some shadow ones will come as well

I expect the new Bhuddist status by the canal will feature as will the theatre and canal

which could bugger up my favourite bike ride route at times

( must check if I am allowed to ride down Farage as I ride past - or maybe push him into the canal - is that allowed if he is doing an interview on a cycle path????) - asking for a friend obviously!

I'd prefer not to let Reform loose. Keep them on a tight leash.

I don;t want them to have any more MPs

the more they have the more time they get in Parliament
and the more they will get on the telly
if they start losing then their appearance will drop
which is what I want

Farage seemed to manage to get lots of airtime before he was an MP; probably he still will when his constituents get sick of him.

His constituents have never seen him. I don't think he goes to Clacton at all!
