This America has fallen thing is wearing a bit thin. The US has been supporting the Saudi religious lunatics for as long as I can remember. It was the Saudis, with US help that created the Taliban. The US supported the fascist dictators in America to the bitter end.
What we are seeing now is nothing new in terms of US behaviour, the only difference is that now it affects us.
