The Greens have a local plumber as their candidate. She wants to bring people together to improve the area and build social cohesion.

Reform have a right wing xenophobic agitator and Orban fanboy who has never been further north than Birmingham. He wants to be famous, make loads of cash from X, GBeebies and other social media type sites and is only it it for himself.

Forget national policies. They don't matter in a local election.

Much better to vote for someone sensible like good old Nige or maybe that nice Liz Truss, or maybe Kemi or .....

In a bye election you bite your lip and vote for the least worst.

A bit more complicated in such a tight context: you have to vote for the person most likely to defeat the worst. It was like that in East Devon at the GE - all sorts of things made prediction/choice an absolute nightmare, and that allowed the Tory to sneak in, as the GTTO vote was pretty evenly split between Greens, Lib Dems and Labour.
