Isn’t that the same with almost every cartoonist. If you have to do a cartoon every day, it’s never going to be 100% gold.

He’s been doing it for 38 years, I suspect he’s running out of ideas and recycling lots of stuff.

But I guess the £400k/pa helps persuade him to keep churning the stuff out. Just a very low strike rate these days on funny ones.
